Pressure-sensitive transfer tape is perfect in situations where a material’s back needs to be laminated before die cutting, or in situations where the carrier of a double-coated tape may impact the strength of the adhesive’s bond, such as around corners or when applied to curved surfaces. They’re also typically cheaper than double-coated alternatives, making them perfect for mass-produced goods like die-cut vinyl stickers.
