treDCAL® uses two types of SpecTape’s double-coated adhesives.  The first is a double-coated acrylic adhesive that allows the thigh pad covering holding the images to be removed and replaced.  The second is SpecTape’s double-coated rubber adhesive that allows the images themselves to maintain an adhesion that can withstand the hardest hits in the NFL.  The 3D shadow-box type effect that appears through the pants covering the pads is possible by treDCAL® using a  variety of SpecTape’s foam colors and thicknesses.  Particularly when paired with a white pair of pants, the image created on the thigh pad with SpecTape foam easily pops through the pants showing off whatever image the player has designed.
